If you’re a PMU artist who’s never used Skinful Beauty Pigment Seal before, prepare to have your mind blown!

This clever formula is used for two important purposes. Firstly, it can be used during the treatment to cleanse, refresh, hydrate and nourish the skin, removing excess pigment effectively. This isn’t only more comfortable for your client but by minimising swelling and redness, but the pigment will implant much better – especially with stubborn skin.

And secondly, you’ll see benefits that go on well past the appointment. The moisturising Pigment Seal promotes pigment retention in the treatment area, can help reduce scabbing, and will ultimately result longer-lasting results.

What does it contain?

Skinful Beauty’s Pigment Seal formula has all the good bits and none of the bad! PH balanced and free of all fragrances, parabens and ethyl alcohols, the Pigment Seal is even cruelty free and vegan, with an approval mark from PETA. Excluding common ingredients like petroleum and mineral oils reduces the chance of drying out, irritating the skin, or causing dermatitis.

By excluding animal products and only using plant-based ingredients, Skinful Beauty’s Pigment Seal can be used as a part of a fully-vegan and cruelty-free PMU clinic.

What benefit does it have to my client?

Aside from the moisturising and calming benefits – which are not to be underappreciated! – the biggest benefit of the Pigment Seal is that you’ll achieve better colour retention, reducing the need for top-up appointments and corrections. Fewer top up appointments mean reduced trauma to the skin and less financial cost to your clients!

Where can pigment seal be used?

Absolutely anywhere you would apply permanent makeup! From scalp to toe, even on the delicate eyelids, Pigment Seal is beautifully pH balanced and free of any chemical nasties, making it the perfect addition to your PMU kit.

In addition, it is suitable for all skin types, even working well on those with oily and stubborn skin!

How do I use it?

Pour some of the Pigment Seal into a large ink cap, then use a cotton pad to apply to the treatment area. In best practice you’ll clean and wipe after every pass to eliminate excess pigment and help you to see what you’re doing.

Once the treatment is finished, you can apply again to the treatment area with a cotton wool bud and leave it to soak for a few minutes before wiping off, for instant soothing benefits and to lock in the colour.

Add a bottle of Pigment Seal to your PMU kit and you’ll see a difference in comfort, pigment retention and longevity of healed results!
